Hi,

I'm looking for the baptism of William FISH sometime between 1825 and 1833 in Eye, Suffolk. His parents details would also be appreciated.

According to his marriage certificate, he was 'of full age' in 1854, and his father was also William Fish.

Even though his age on each census is more than 10 years difference, he always says he was born in Eye.

If anyone could look this up for me, I'd be grateful.

What is Williams Fathers Occp on the 1854 M/C?
The William born 1824 with Parents William/Mary may be in Eye in 1841, occp Shoemakers Appr. His Father is a Watchmaker.

Did he Marry Mary JONES 1854?

There is also a William born c 1828 living with Parents William/Amey in Southwold, Suffolk, Father Ag Lab. (Amy is probably nee Ives)

There is a Wiilliam Christened 01 Oct 1827, Eye, Mother ELIZABETH

Looked at Trees and found none had the 1871 Census, they are under FESH, William born c 1828, Eye.

so looks like they married after William was born.

Marriage 15 June 1854, St Andrews, Holborn, London - William Fish ofa Groom, Father William Fish Hair dresser.
1851 Census - William Fish, 20 Millbank St, London, Groom age 22 born Eye, Suffolk
1861 Census - William Fish, 208 Posenby Place, Westminster, Labourer age 31 born Eye, Suffolk
1871 Census - William Fish, 1 Russell Grove, Lambeth, Labourer age 43 born Eye, Suffolk
1881 Census - William Fish, 4 Russell Grove, Lambeth, Labourer age 54 born Eye Suffolk (wife shows as Anne, but should be Mary)
1891 Census - William Fish, Taylor Yard, Grimston, Norfolk, Living on his own means, age 65 born Eye, Suffolk.
Died before 1901 census.
