Does anyone no what records there are for Presbyterian Church in Tamlaghtard. I'm looking for a marriage of Thomas McCarron to Margaret McLaughlin around 1859 or any mention of an Eliza or Elizabeth.
Regards, Brncam

Hi,
The marriage was not in the Presbyterian church but it was traditional to get married in the bride's church and then the family would follow the husband's religion. So, 24 Nov 1859 Thomas McCarron married McLaughlin in Tamlaghtard Church of Ireland, Magilligan, Limavady.

Thanks Aghadowey, the dates are a bit earlier than the 1859 marriage, but I'll give the a look.

BrnCam would you mind passing on any information you have about this line. The Thomas McCarron you are talking about is my great-great-great grandfather and after this marrige record i've hit a brick wall.
Cheers in advance
