If anyone is planning to visit East Sussex Archives please could they look up a document reference for me. I'm looking for the Will of a James BROMFIELD or BROOMFIELD which I think was proved circa 1774.
I don't know where he was living at the time of his death but I believe the Will contains references to my confusing and elusive SIFFLEET ancestors so I'm keen to send off for a copy.
Many thanks in advance.

A 75 year old James Broomffield who was an anabaptist teacher from Chailey, was buried at All Saints, Waldron, Sussex, 7 March 1774. (info SFHG Members burial list website)
Could this be the James you seek? Roy G

Thank you Roy. That is indeed the chap. It's a copy of his Will I need so I was hoping someone could look up the document reference in East Sussex Record Office so that I could apply to them for a copy.
Thank you for your prompt response.
