Title: MARRIAGE ALLEGATIONS

I have just had a blinding realization that two weddings I have been looking at were by license.  They were

John Fluck and Ann Keake, Hartpury 13 Dec 1773; and

John Fluck and Mary Roberts, Westbury on Severn, 15 Aug 1799.

I hate to ask, but is there some kind person who would have a look at the Marriage Allegations for these and see if there is any more information?

John FLUCK & Ann KAKE, both of this parish, were married in this church by licence this 13th day of December 1773 by me James PITT, Curate. This marriage was solemnized between us: The mark of John FLUCK and signed Ann KAKE, in the presence of Charles BRADSTOCK and the mark of Mary KAKE.

John FLUCK of the parish of Staunton in the County of Worcester, Bachelor and Mary ROBERTS, Spinster of this parish were married in this church by licence this 15th day of August 1799 by me ? JONES, Officiating Minister. This marriage was solemnized between us John FLUCK and Mary ROBERTS in the presence of William ROBERTS and Sarah ROBERTS.

Hope you don't mind but may I butt in on this one. Are the Gloucestershire marriage allegations available on line as I have a rather vague query. I'm looking for a William Wheeler marrying a Reeve in the Stow on the Wold area sometime between about 1745-1765. No more details than that I'm afraid

The records are not available online but are available on microfiche at the Glos Archives.
You'll find me under "Gloucestershire Lookup Offers" on the main Gloucestershire RootsChat page.
