Researching ROBERT GLENDENNING BREEZE born 1831 in St Stephens Norwich. His father was a dissenting minister, Robert Breeze and his mother was MARIA GLENDENNING. She died in Stalham in 1885.
Hoping this rings some bells with someone. :D Any info would be great!
ROBERT and MARIA taught at New Lakenham infants school 1820/1830s. (Pigots)

Hi My greatmother was an Emma Susannah Breeze and she was born about 1840 she married a James Rust from Stalham. My grandfather's name was John Glendenning do you think there could be a connection.

Thank you so much for those census entries.
I now know my Grandmother had an elder sister, and the name of her grandmother.
Thanks again for taking the trouble to reply

My ggggrandmother was MARIA BROWNE and married ADAM GLENDENNING in GT Yarmouth in 1800. One of their children was called JOHN.
So your grandfather could be a descendent of him. I find it hard to find any Glendennings in Norfolk.
It was Johns sister Maria who married ROBERT BREEZE my gggrandfather in 1823.
Does this help?

Hi Winny, Thank you for your response. I believe the connection had come down through the Rust side, and the name Glendenning is hard to trace back. It seemed to be a popular name in Yorkshire. As Maria died in Stalham it did occur to me that both James and Emma could have had a common ancestor which could then connect to yours as well.
Good hunting.
Patricia.

I was looking through the pages and came across your item.
My grandfather on my mother's side of the family was Mr William George Jonathan Breeze, he was born 1888, in Kings Lynn.
He married Anne Ellen, or alternative Ann Eleanor Breeze (nee Blake) in 1912, in Huddersfield.
I understand that there were several Breeze's from Norfolk, could my grandfather be related to your Breeze family member ?
Yours faithfully
Mr Stuart Castle

The Breeze name is fairly common in Norfolk. My own Breeze family line originated from Ovington, Norfolk. However, I haven't found connections with other groups in the Norwich and Great Yarmouth areas.
