Google books has a mention (from Country Life in 1917) of "Reilly and Walker, Courtrai and Rotterdam" in connection with a flax machine.

The 1916 obit of Lt JE Walker in the Times mentions that his father was Mr FM Walker of Reilly and Walker, Courtrai.

Not available in English.

I also found a Thomas Walker and baptism of two of his children in the 18th century. If you should be interested...

The general genealogical site I know for the Netherlands doesn't work at the moment.

And just a coincidence, Iwas born in Courtray and lived during childhood in the same street you mention for Jerome.

I found a road called Minister Vanden Peereboomlaan in Kortrijk (Courtai), Belgium on GoogleMaps- wonder of this is the same as "31 Boul Vandenpeereboom" but unfortunately I don't know enough about the area to be certain. Perhaps meermin or someone else will know.

It's the same street allright. Boulevard Vandepeereboom was in my childhood "Vandepeereboomlaan". In the seventies town changed the name in Minister Vandepeereboomlaan, because at that time nobody knew anymore who Vandepeereboom was. He was a very important liberal minister of interior and originated from the region, more exactly, he was from Ieper (some 30km from Courtray (Flemish name KORTRIJK). Although I haven't been there for many many years I know the street still exists, for I saw on the internet a flat to let in the same street some months ago.
