Is there anyone in the Lyme Regis area who would be able to see if they could find the grave for Mary Bramble, buried on the 9th March 1825 in the Parish of Lyme Regis. This is all the information I have and I would love to know what was inscribed on the head stone.
If anyone needs more information please ask and any help would be greatly received.

Hi
Do you know for certain that there was a headstone or whether it still exists today?
-
Sadly not, do you have any advice on where to find this information out before I send someone looking? I know the family were fairly wealthy at this stage so I just assumed so :-\

Graveyards and cemetaries throughout the country are suffering from the curse of the Health & Safety Regs. Stones with the slightest "wobble" have to be removed.
The cemetary I visit regularly has created more of a hazard than when the stones were in place - they have removed them and left them lying on the ground!!

Hi,
Dorset FHS have transcribed the headstones in St Michael, Lyme Regis. They offer a search service:

hi i am in the areaand may be able to search 4 u. how important is this 2 u? what is your relationship to the deceased?
-
She is my 5xGreat Grandmother. It is important to me as this is where my trail runs cold with this side of my family. I really hope this might offer some clues. I would really appreciate your help, I can find the parish entry to her burial in Lyme Regis but no further details.
