Title: David Morgan
Post by: Catesown on Sunday 23 October 11 02:35 BST (UK)
I am searching for a David Morgan from Calgary, Alberta. He supposedly was killed in action but I also found a immigration to England from France that fits as far as age. He was only 15 when he went and the Canadian Officials offered to bring him home and discharge him for $1. His Dad refused. Then he was supposedly killed. Any info on the scroll that you see about his discharge in France?

I think the scroll mentioned in this post belongs to that particular soldier (Mitchell) not anyone else.

Perhaps others will be able to help you with information on David Morgan.

Might this be him?

If you take his date of birth as 1899 rather than 1895 (ie agreeing with the CWGC entry) then he would have been 15 when he joined up.
