mother's maiden name Cutler
Sept qtr 1913
Hampstead

I had a close look and think it's definitely an M, would stand to reason as her mother was Margaret. I found a marriage of an Yvonne M Sandbrook to a Robert A Done in 1980 but that would have made her 67 when she married, not unheard of maybe she was a late starter!

I think the marriage reg you found was for (or transcribed as ) Yvonne H Sandbrook

doubt it is your Yvonne as it seems they had at least 2 children in the 1980's

Wonder if she went abroad??

Do you know where her parents died ??

I have just discovered the outcome of that marriage myself!
her father William Henry Sandbrook died in 1932 and lived at 25 Christchurch Avenue Brondesbury and her mother died in 1950 same reg district so presume living at the same address.

There is probate calendar
Wiliam Henry Sandbrook of 25 Christchurch Ave and of 332 High Rd both in Bronesbury Middlesex died 31 Mar 1932 25 Christchurch Ave. Probate London 11 May to margaret Alice Newham Sandbrook widow and Peter Raymond Bodkin solicitor

Maybe if you got a copy of will Yvonne may be mentioned in it??

Looks like Margaret Alice Newman Sandbrook died 1950 Willesden dist

Thanks for all your help Suz, I had picked up the will details on Ancestry, do you know how I can get a copy? Pity the records didn't go on a few years as she would have been mentioned in her Mother's as she was an only child, providing she was still alive and they hadn't fallen out!

Hi Wint

You can apply to Her Majesty's Courts & Tribunal Services for a copy.

I may be at Holborn next week and can check to see if there's an entry for Margaret.

Hi Dawn, Thanks for this, if you are at Holborn that would be great. I live in Cornwall so not really accessible for me at the moment.
