I wonder if someon might help me with information on the marriage of Montague Henry Farrell and Elsie Gertrude Smith in January, 1918 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I have tried to look it up but have been unsuccessful.

I found it interesting that he listed his mother and not his wife as his next of kin.

You can find the marriage on the Manitoba Vital Stats site. Montague's name is mistranscribed....he is listed as Moulague Henry Farrell. He and Elsie Gertrude Smith married in Winnipeg on January 28, 1918. You can order the marriage registration from this site.

Looks like Montague was married more than once. His death was registered in Victoria, British Columbia in 1973 and his wife is listed as Georgina Simpson:
