Mabel and Lilian look rather 'washed out', is it possible to get more definition please? poli

Hi,
you'll get a much better result if you re-scan, the image is 72dpi, so you loose a lot of detail
-
Hi Poli............As requested your photo restored with more definition.
Carolyn :)

Carolyn and macbeth--my thanks to both of you.
macbeth --have never understood the the technical workings regarding 'dpi'. i realise it makes a great difference but am not sure how to apply it.
The copy posted on here was not from an original photo but from a copy sent by email. Does altering dpi work only from an original?poli. :)
