Hi all,
Trying to trace information on my partners family. What we know is that - James William Lyons was born abt 1898 & died abt 1943 - don't know where born or died. - presumably in Australia.
He married Annie Ethel Gluyas she was born abt 1893 in South Aust & died abt 1981 in NSW.
They had 4 children 2 boys 2 girls.
Apparently Annie had other children prior to marrying James & their surname was Myhill. Don't know how many children or where or when born or anything on the father.
Sorry it's not much to go on.
Any help appreciated... Dave

William Charles Myhill, son of Henry Thomas, died in 1953 in NSW - so is there a divorce to find?
http://www.loxtonwaikerie.sa.gov.au/site/page.cfm?c=16871
- this may be the burial of your James William Lyons.
There is a possible James William Lyons who enlisted for WWI. He was b. 5 Feb 1898 in Victoria but enlisted from NSW (next of kin in 1918, father James also in NSW). He is listed as having a weak heart - ringing any bells?
