I am looking for details of the arrival date in New South Wales. Denis Gordon Braley was born in 1909 in Chiswick, Middlesex, England. Parents were Benjamin Brayley and Margaret Susan Wisdom.
Denis married Doris Sarah Rawle in NSW c1935.
I would be grateful for any details concerning this family.

I too have no interest in this family. At the NSW SRO’s online Deceased Estates index there’s Margaret S BRALEY of Lithgow, with date of death as 26 Dec 1921 and Duty paid 30 March 1922.
http://www.records.nsw.gov.au/state-archives/indexes-online/indexes-online
The Ryerson index is regularly updated and is worthwhile checking for the surname. (Ryerson is a free index to death notices appearing in newspapers, of course not all newspapers have volunteers indexing their death and funeral notices, and not all deaths and funerals are announced in the newspapers) http://www.ryersonindex.org/
Is that a typo in the surname in the topic heading? BRAYLEY, Denis Gordon.

Should these two threads be merged?

This looks like them arriving into Brisbane on the Omrah in 1911

They had come via Fremantle, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.
The Fremantle arrival gives his occupation as 'Furniture Dealer' and that is the same as is given in the 1901 census at Chiswick.
They stayed in Queensland until at least 1913 where they appear on the Toowoomba electoral roll and it may be quite difficult to find a record of their arrival into NSW. They were there by 1923 when Benjamin and Harold appear in the Sands directories.
Edit to add that I see Margaret died in NSW in 1921 so they moved sometime between 1913 and
1921.
Edit again to add that when Harold enlisted in 1916 he gave his father's addess as Mort Street, Lithgow.

Margaret Susan BRALEY’s will dated 17 February 1915 was prepared by a Lithgow firm of solicitors. She identifies herself as Margaret Susan Braley of Lithgow, in the State of New South Wales, Married Woman. She appointed her husband Benjamin Braley of Lithgow, Gun Maker as her Executor.

Hi,
Part of the arrangement with Qld assisted passengers is that they were expected to reside permanently in Qld. Benjamin was probably going to do this and he initially settled in Toowoomba, but when WW1 broke out his skills as a gun maker could be put to good use at Lithgow in NSW hence the move.
Just a theory.

He was buried at Barraba and there is a photo of his grave here:

Barraba is in northern NSW.
The National Archives has a digitised WW1 record for Harold (Harold Benjamin Colin BRALEY), b abt 1892, Chiswick. He gives his father as NoK, 7 Ida Pl, Mort St, Lithgow.

In 1919 he marries Florence Norah ROBINS at Kingston (Surrey) before returning to Australia in 1920. There is an address for his widow at Dulwich Hill (NSW) in 1935.
