Hi
I am a descendant of John Casey via his daughter Margaret who married into the Andrew family :)

Here are some children (descendants) that may have been born to John and Mary in NZ. It should not be too difficult to track them down.
https://www.bdmhistoricalrecords.dia.govt.nz/search
You can search on papers past https://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/
1851/1375 Casey Catherine Mary John
1855/2378 Casey James Mary John
1856/3556 Casey Patrick Mary John
or are you looking to see if you can go back ie to find ancestors (ie father mother siblings) of John and Mary in Ireland ?
PS I know that this is an old thread and email addresses etc may have changed.

Hi Kim, Delighted to hear from you. My connection is with Margaret and James Andrew as their daughter Ellen is my gr grandmother. Ellen married a James Green and they lived in Martinborough where my maternal grandmother, Margaret Amelia Green was born.
re John Casey and Mary nee Carroll. They had four children, all born in Ireland but two younger children died on the "Sir Robert Sale" enroute to NZ in 1847, the time of the famine.
John Casey, 6, died 19/8/1847 and one month later Daniel Casey, 2, d 18/8/1847. It must have been heartbreaking to see their small bodies going into the sea. They don't appear to have had any more children when in NZ and John Casey died 7 yrs later on the 6th February 1854.
Do you live in NZ...I'm in Tauranga.
