Does anyone know if there are records for Cornish men who fought during th Second Boer War (1899-1902)? I am keen to find out if Joseph Henry Phillips and his brother James Phillips fought (I know that their brother William John Phillips did).
Thank you!

Try Casus-Belli.co.uk an excellent website.
Register of Anglo-Boer War 1899-1902. Meurig Jones was helpful and informative. I now know which campaigns my Grandfather was involved in and a record of his medals and bars. My Grandfather served with the East Surrey Regiment.
Hope this is helpful to you.

Hi
Don't know if this is too late, but my great grandfather fought with the Duke of Cornwall Light Infantry in the 2nd Boer War.
I found his service record at Kew, when I was there for other reasons. But I tried the link on the find my past website, and it didn't find him!
You may have found your man!, but if not maybe give the "British Army Service Records 1760-1915" on the find my past website, because my g grandfather does appear on that list.
Kind Regards
Trippy
