Title: LATEST ELECTORAL ROLL?

Can anyone check the very latest electoral roll? Or last available.
I have just found that a family member may possibly still be alive and would be 99 years old.
Last know place living was Reigate Surrey.  Name Doris M Homewood. b1912 in Reigate.
Any help would be very much appreciated and many thanks.  SUE.

The Doris F Homewood that is on the Electoral Roll for 2002 for Surrey  passed away 2001

Just a note about your original request of an electoral roll look up.

They are not in alphabetical name order,but listed by address,so you would have needed to know her address before anyone could have helped with a look up  ;D

Hope the death cert proves to be the right person,it sure has the right middle initial !

192.com has the latest electoral rolls that are searchable, but it costs.

But death certainly looks like the Doris I'm after.

Further potential problem with electoral registers. Since 2003 it has been possible for people to opt out of the published version of the register. Quite a high proportion do so, (variable but typically in the 40-50% range) and their details are available only to the staff etc. of candidates standing for election in the area.

You can however access them, but there are considerable restrictions placed on the conditions of access. e.g. You can only make hand written copies, and are unable to trawl to find entries, which means you need to know the address in advance.
