Title: Jane GARDINER, Phillip VIBERT, murder suicide

Hi there, I am looking for the death record of Jane VIBERT alias Jane GARDINER, who was murdered by the man she had lived with for 18 years, PHILLIP VIBERT, who then committed suicide, There is a death record for him in 1886 AUBURY but none for her.
I am also trying to trace the movements of Philip VIBERT.

From his dc what month did this happen ...  Does his dc give you his parents  and how long he had lived in the colonies

There should be Inquests ... have you found any mention of where these were held ... It was possible to bury with the authority of the coroner and sometimes no dc was registered but more likely Jane's surname is under different spelling on the indexes

I think her death might be on the NSW indexes as "Jane S Garden", died Albury 1886.
