Title: Los Angeles Death Notice 1920-1930

Boy.  I'm stuck.

I am looking for the death notice for Cora A. Armstrong who died in L.A. between 1920-1930.  She was born 13 May 1852 in Mchenry Co. Illinois.  Her second husband was Charles Armstong and they were married in 1888.
I need her death date so I can order a death certificate which will hopefully show her mothers maiden name.  I'm pretty sure it's Elizabeth Kent from MA but I need to make sure, since I'm having no luck finding her info either.  Coras fathers name was G.W. Boutell.

She appears to be alive as of the 1923 and 1926 L.A. city directories -

She is not listed in the 1927 L.A. city directory -

But she seems to be in the 1929 directory as widow of C C -

There are some volunteers on www.raogk.org listed under All counties in California that do look-ups in the death index that covers this time frame, so maybe you could try contacting one of them.
