Thank you very much Davidrigg, much appreciated for the info, all noted down. I can't seem to find them on the 1881-1891 wondered if they had moved to another county.
Thanks again Angela.

There is a bit of a confusing 1881 Census that might be them;
Did Elizabeth Marry a Edward Wells?
Down as ROBERT Crane but image is hard to make out and could be John;
1881 Census
32 Vauxhall St,
All Saints, Leicester
RG11/3178/91/19
Edward WELLS, 20 ?, Head, Mar, ??
Elizabeth Wells, 22, Wife, Mar
Frances Wells, 3, Daug
Jane Wells, 1, Daug
Richard CRANE, 44, Father in Law, Framework Knitter, born Nottinghamshire
Jane Crane, 42, Wife, Mar
Thomas Crane, 21, Son, Unm, Pianist (born Blind)
Beatrice Crane, 5?, Daug
Annie SMITH, 24, Sister, Mar,
Elizabeth Smith, 2
John T Smith, 1mth?
Everyone except Robert/John Crane is born Leicestershire
Answered my own question;
Marriage; Edward WELLS, Dec 1876, Leicester, 7a 471, On the same page is Elizabeth CRANE

Looks like 1881 is correct;
1891 under CRAIK ::)
1891 Census
5 Rudskin St,
St Margaret, Leicestershire
RG12/253120/33
John CRANE, 54, Head, Mar, Frame Work Knitter, born Nottingham
Jane Crane, 51, Wife, Mar
Sarah G SMITH, 17, Grand/Daug, Knitter/Machinist
Beatrice Smith, 15, Grand/Daug, Hosiery Hand
Elizth SUFFOLIKS (sic), 72, Wifes Mother, Widow, born Countesthorpe
All born Leicestershire except John.
So looks like Beatrice from 1881 census was not John/Janes Daug but probably Elizabeths before her Marriage.

Marriage;
Elizabeth MOULDS, March 1867, Leicester, 7a 268
On the same page is John SUFFOLK

Hello Trish,
Thank you for your help very kind of you.
No wonder I couldn't find John Crane on the 1881 census if he was living with his son-in-law and family. On the 1891 looks like Janes mother had married again and been widowed.
Thanks Angela.
