Thank-you Claire. I am in Canada and am finding it hard to know my way around searching in Cornwall.
John Blake Sweet & Mary Lanxon are my gg grandparents. They emigrated to Canada in the 1860's.
I'd dearly love to place the gravesites (churches/farms etc.) of this family starting back with John Sweet & Rebecca Bewes so as to visit someday.
You refer to records on Cornwall OPC - what is that? Do you know any sites which would have monumental inscription? Are you related to people in this line?
Thanks again, Anne

Hi,
Cornwall OPC is a website, link below
http://www.cornwall-opc.org/
Not sure of any Monumental Inscription sites, and no I'm not related to people in this line, just have ancestors in Cornwall.

Hello there, I saw your post on the Sweet family - Richard Sweet was my great, great great grandfather!
I have been researching my Great Grandfather William Henry Sweet who was Richard's daughter Rebecca's grandson.
Would love to share family info if you are interested.

Hi, Here in Canada I'm a bit rusty at the tech end of things. Would really love to exchange info. I have a fair amount on Richard's son John Blake Sweet and his descendents both Cornwall and Canada but not a lot on the others such as Rebecca and her offspring. Looks like a child out of wedlock? I'm also curious about whether any descendents are still living in Cornwall.
Maybe we can exchange email addresses thru a PM.
