When was she married? Freebmd says it is qtr ending June 1841 (ie 30/6/1841)  Census was taken on night of 6th June 1841 so are we looking for her as a single woman or married?

As relationships weren`t stated it is quite likely that she is the Mary aged 20 (Ages rounded down).  It looks as though the men were listed first and then the women.

MARRIAGE;
Mary SHAW/Thomas THOMSON, 28 March 1841, Baswick, Staffordshire
(Source Familysearch.Org)

They would appear as Married on the 1841 Census so the one geoff3d posted is correct :)

Hello,

THe marriage cert might not help as the Parish Record entry from berkswich.org.uk  for the marriage of Thomas Thompson and Mary Shaw says her father unknown.
I suggested the possibility of the Barton birth on another thread.
