Can anyone help please ?
Mary Ann WILKES born 4th quarter 1888 Stockton on Tees
1901 Census shows her aged 12 living with parents and siblings at 20 Parliament Street Stockton on Tees
Cannot find her on 1911 Census
But on 27th September 1911 at 20 Parliament Street a son Vivian BRADLEY was born to Mary Ann BRADLEY formerly WILKES and father John William BRADLEY. Birth registered at Stockton on Tees in the County of Durham.
I cannot find the marriage. Any help/advice would be very much appreciated.

Have you looked for her under Bradley on the 1911 census
Freebmd also shows a birth in 1912 in Stockton for Gertrude Bradley - mmn Wilkes

Thank you for the suggestions.
But yes I have searched under every way of spelling BRADLEY and WILKES/WILKS that I can think of and yes that is another child of theirs.

Have you managed to rule out the Dec qtr 1909 marriage of a John William Bradley to either Dora Hampshire or Miriam Wilkes in York area.....
Sorry if this isn't really helpful...just trying to "awkwardly" work around your problem ;D

Thank you Kaz
I had not noticed this one, I will look at it.

Hi Kaz
I have now had chance to look at the info.
Yes the Miriam Wilkes to John William Bradley does seem to be the one. For some reason on the marriage and Census 1911 and his Military records she calls herself Miriam. Else where she is Mary Ann.
Many thanks again from
