Title: Elizabeth Shiffner Shelley Watkins
Post by: mongoose2 on Sunday 11 September 11 21:48 BST (UK)
trying to find the birth of the above lady in Monmouthshire about 1802. She marries William Jenner on 7th November 1819 Brighton, Sussex and when he died in either 1851 or 1847 she married Samuel Sperling (or Spurlun or Sparland) in 1855 Lewes, Sussex. She dies in 1885 in Lewes.

There are several trees on Ancestry but no one has he parents.
what is the significance of the double middle name? Schiffner is german and of course Shelley was a poet other than that I have no other info.

Barry

Presume her second marriage cert would have her fathers name and occupation.  freebmd entry shows  Samuel as Spurnum

Hi, just started researching my family history, and leads bring me to Elizabeth Shiffner Watkins, married to William Jenner. (My family line descends through Emma Jenner).

From New Zealand I am now struggling to find any further information on ancestry through this line.

Are you able to provide any further detail in this area please?

Thanks Scott.
