please could any one tell me if alice woods b in 1925 in preston lancashirewas here mother alice woods nee marchbank who m william woods in 1912 from bell

There is a Alice Woods born June 1925 and it states her Mothers maiden
name is Marchbank registered in Preston, Lancs.   Without the birth
certificate I dont know if her Father was William Woods for sure.
