Title: OCZENASCHEK family name
Post by: BRADFORD on Monday 05 September 11 14:14 BST (UK)
Hello :),I am trying to find out about my wife`s family from Austria.T he family name OCZENASCHEK seems to be a rare one ,I have found 35 references to it world wide. My wife  came from Graz Austria, and has  not been able to find any details of her parents even though she has a death certificate from her mother.
There where 4 uncles  when she left Austria in1971, 2 of the uncles served in the second world war for Austria,Iget lost in the red tape of the Austrian archives when trying to research any part of the family.
I hope someone can help me ,thank you, Graham

Hiya Bradford ...have you tried www.geneanet.org
2 family trees for Oczenaschek
1754 in Wisokein ,Austria
1729-1768 in Vottau ,Austria

both trees are owned by the same man ...a German who now lives in the Czech Republic
he has an e-mail address and his home address on the site ....if you have any difficulty obtaining his contact address/e-mail let me know and I will PM you ...does the surname Zugner mean anything to you ?...this is this mans surname

Hi
My husbands family, Oczenaschek are from Graz, Austria. Grandfather was Emil who was married to Margaret Forschinger. My father in-laws Herman and has brother Eric. Not sure if this helps you but good luk in your search.

Hello, I am currently researching the history of the house where I live. There was a Johann Oczenaschek here in March 1928 and a wife Anna Oczenaschek in July 1947. They have lived in Aschau im Burgenland. https://goo.gl/maps/jgCVCHmBNhm
