See http://www.thecore.com/seanruad to find townlands in Ireland. If this is a phoenetic spelling you can search for part of a word to see if you can identify this place (be sure to change default setting from exact match).

I see only one reference to the place name in Ireland, the reference in the Raphoe Wills, I take it this is the reference to which you are referring, have you any other details about these Tonners? Where were they found in latter generations, may be able to narrow search down, it may be the subdivision of a townland, or a mispelling there is a Creaghadoos townland in the Parish of Taughboyne which falls within the Raphoe Barony

There is or was a  Creachdow in Argyll, Scotland, put a google search in for Creachdow, Scotland   brings up a few results but they are from the 16/17C

Yes this is the only online link I can find to Tonners, think they/we have been misspelled.  IGI has a christening for a Bridget Tonner in 1780's in Raphoe.  Would love to find the will but only the index has survived.
The next reference I have is in Scotland 1841, where they are born in Ireland.
The family says they were from Down.

The Bridget Tonner baptised 1777 father was a Thomas Tonner, she was baptised  Raphoe Cathedral (St Eunan's)

Tonner/Toner will be the same name, some other baptisms for the latter spelling 1780/90's in Donegal as well as 1830's onwards
