If you are looking for look-ups then you will need to provide more information that you have provided. If your grandparents are deceased then information about them would be helpful.

The only thing I could find on the surname Meugens was under
Soldiers of the First World War
Hubert Theodore Meugens
wife Mary Isabel
b.Calcutta, India, living in BC
if this is the Meugens you are looking for, please let us know and we may be able to find more info for you.

Here is a link to Hubert's Attestation Papers:

There are instructions on the page on how to order a copy of his military file.
There is a passenger list for the Pretorian which arrived in St. John, New Brunswick on 26 Apr 1906 which had Arthur Meugers (25) and Hubert Meugers (20) onboard. The passenger list indicates they were destined for Victoria, British Columbia. Here's a link to the passenger list at Library and Archives Canada:

The LDS Family Search site has a database of BC deaths. Here's a link to a transcription of the death registration for Hubert (surname mistranscribed):
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.2/MNPR-74S/p1
and the transcription for Mary's death:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.2/MN5J-N4Z/p1
Hubert is on the 1911 Canada census in Kelowna, BC. Here's a link to the census image from LAC (line 8 ):

Here's a link to a transcription of the marriage of Hubert and Mary from the BC marriage database at the LDS site:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.2/MN5T-2SG/p1
Here's a death for Hubert's brother, Arthur:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.2/MN58-SP5/p1
and for Arthur's wife:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.2/MNPB-HFB/p1
I saw a family tree that had this person listed as a second wife to Arthur however the name of her husband on her death registration does not match Arthur Lionel but that could possibly be a transcription error:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.2/MN5N-5S5/p1
Regarding Arthur, I wasn't able to find an entry on the 1911 Canada census. If you want to try to find him, you can search the 1911 Canada census for free at this site:

Link to another thread regarding a connection to this family by same poster:

A link to a thread by a poster searching the same family which has much of the same and more information than this thread and your other thread:
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,45031.0.html
I also see that you had found the thread started by babu before you had responded to Valerie and my posts. It would have been appreciated if you could have posted a link to babu's thread in this thread so there wouldn't have been such a duplication of efforts.

If this person is still researching the Meugens family, I am the grandson of Hubert Theodore Meugens.
