I am looking for
Jane Shepherd, born ca1862 in Harrow, Middlesex.
Any information would be gratefully received.
She later married Aaron Wooster, of Harrow.

There are several Jane Shepherds on the 1871 census born c.1862 in Middlesex, but none of them were born in Harrow.
To narrow the field down a bit - any chance of her parents names

I'm sorry about the lack of information - unfortunately that is about all i know at present. :'( I am still rummaging, as one does.

I'm afraid it's all a bit messy!
the 1901 census (RG13 120b 30 52 321) gives her as Jane (Wooster) born 1862 in Harrow Middlesex.
The 1891 census (RG21/1039 Hendon. Harrow. 4a 90 14) gives her as born 1868 in Berkshire.
We know her maiden surname from the birth cert of one of her children.
Family tradition was that she came from "an old Harrow family" which is why I went with the Harrow date and place.
....but any advice would be great!

On the 1871 census there are 125 people named Jane Shepherd.
6 of the above are shown as being born in Berkshire, but only 2 fall within your age range from the two census ages
Jane Shepherd 9 East Hanney, Berkshire, England Daughter East Hanney Berkshire
Jane Shepherd 6 Didcot (Dudcott), Berkshire, England Daughter St Philip and St Jacob Gloucestershire
19 of them are shown as being born in Middlesex – but none in Harrow; and only 4 of them fall within your age ranges.

Jane Shepherd 6 Marylebone, Middlesex, England Daughter St Marylebone London

I think I may have some information you will find useful, for example, Ethel Wooster, nee Benn, parents Adel Benn/Haryett and John Haryett of Wealdstone/Abertillary.
1901 census shows the family living in Wealdstone, Ethel then aged 12 (so born 1889-ish).
I have in my possession various letters written by Adel Haryett, some death announcements etc. Photo of the grave of Adels son, George (Ethels half-brother).
Adel came from Uppington, Wilts, and was born 1861.
Aaron Wooster (1881 census) age 13, born Watford, Herts.
around 1868, living in 1881 in Byron Rd Wealdstone.
