Is anyone researching the family SHIELS?  I have a postcard  which I am

Hi,

There are so many Shiels/Shields family that it would be hard to know which Shiels you are referring!  While my ggrandfather John Gillies Shields came from Stewarton, there were other former family members with the spelling of Shiels/Sheils.  Perhaps you could give a little more information?

Hi,

Thanks for replying.  I have never heard of a Daisy Shields!  However, there are a lot of Paisley/Govan Shields which we are attached to, but maybe we just never knew about this one!

Online trees have Daisy's parents as Thomas Shiels and Catherine Oliver Cameron
No husband and I can't easily see a marriage , perhaps the spelling is off  :-\

The date on the card, as stated in previous post.
I imagine that it is 1913, halfpenny postage stamp

Part of the message reads,
Dear Daisy,

? McCutchion, for the weekend only..................
With kind regards,
? JK

I am not researching  Shiels/Shields ,

There were definitely Youngs connected with the Shields who emigrated to Vermont as seen in the Shields-Young letters which can be googled.
