From your post I presume you have already studied
http://snorbens.wordpress.com/2010/06/08/don%E2%80%99t-forget-the-st-issells-burial-board-register/

Therefore were Daniel and Harriett establish church or chapel ?? Remembering that even though they may have been baptised or mrd established church, many changed to chapel in later life, like the majority of our ancestors did for this area.

Just to sure I searched St Issells burial register 1871 for Harriet and 1875 for Daniel Rees, there is no entry for either.

For your consideration our own ancestor who was baptised in the established church at Tenby, converted to Baptist at Deer Park Tenby, built 2 houses at Saundersfoot, he resided in one, his son in the other, died at Abergavnney, and was buried at Tenby Cemetery.

Perhaps something similiar happend to Daniel and/or Harriet.

Hello orielbenfro
Thankyou for looking for the burials,as for their religion , I have no idea what it was .Harriet was born in Langan? and Daniel was born and married  in Amroth, and they seem to have spent their lives in the Amroth/Narberth area.
Regards
Alan

Are we talking about the same family, the only Daniel and Harriet I can find is the mrge of Daniel Rees of Lampeter Velfrey to Harriet David at Narberth 28 Oct 1834 ?

You believe Harriet (David) was born in the village of Llangan in Carmarthenshire, this is of course the next parish east of Lampeter Velfrey in Pembrokeshire.

A search of the surname David wills of Llangan in the diocese of St David’s, may well reveal a connection to the above.

As an aside I note in my 12,000 names of Burgess of Pembroke Borough (Pembroke Wiston & Tenby Areas plus other places in the UK and worldwide) from 1678 to 1763
Robert Arundell a sadler registered burgess Oct 1740
Robert Arundell a sadler registered burgess Oct 1750
Jacob Arundell registered burgess 11 Jan 1741

Burgess of Pembroke Borough 1711 to 2006
Robert Arundle a sadler made burgess 11 Jan 1741 Admin Bk 2 Page 24

I note a Thomas Arundel mrd Mary Phillip at Narberth in 1774.

I wonder if any of the above are related to Hannah Arrundell who left her will in 1777 at H’west St Mary.

Hello Orielbenfro                                                                                                                                   The marriage info I have had off Family search and that states :Harriot Davies,Langan to Daniel Rees 18 October 1834 Amroth,Pembroke.
The 51 census gives Harriots birthplace as Langan and Daniels as Landarcy?
The 61 census gives Harriets birthplace as Lampeter and Daniels as Langan.
The 71 census gives Harrietts birthplace as Langan and Daniels as Lampeter Pembs.

There is no reference to any mrge of a Daniel Rees at Amroth, so information I supplied you is correct, info you had off the IGI is incorrect. To confirm what I say, you can either apply direct to the Pembs Record Office for a copy of the mrge entry I have supplied details of (you will have to pay) or you can wait till I am next at the Record Office and I will obtain a jpeg of the entry for free.
Clearly then the other information I supplied you also fits your research so you are now searching 2 separate counties.
I do not know when I shall get to Carmarthen Record Office, so can not assist with Harriet a.t.t., however give me an approx date of birth for Daniel and will check to see if there is a baptism entry for him around that date at Lampeter Velfrey.

Hello Orielbenfro
Thank you for taking the trouble to find out these dates and I know the I.G.I. is not always accurate and I will contact the Pembs record office for a copy of their marriage.
The census records and death certificate give Daniels birth as 1810/11.
