Hi
I am no relation but whilst bored during the thunder and lightning today I have found a death record on Scotlands People for a Grace Wilkinson aged 72 years died 15th February 1943 in Maryhill.
Can't read everthing but from SP
Grace Wilkinson widow of Gibson Nettleship (?) Wilkinson, master mariner. Parents listed as George Williams, Stevedore (?) deceased and Hannah Williams, maiden name Bradley (deceased). Death certificate signed by a daughter but signature is so faint I can't read it.
If you wish the certificate from SP send me a pm with your email address.
Cheers

There is an old post on the ancestry noticeboard about a Gibson Nettleship Wilkinson and I have copied a wee bit of the text out below.
Their second son was William Gibson Wilkinson, but he called himself Gibson Nettleship Wilkinson for some reason in the 1901 Census. His son by Grace Williams was my grandfather Joseph Nettleship Wilkinson.
Hopefully I have managed to paste the link to the message but it is back in 2004.

I don't know if the Grace Williams referred to is your Grace Williams.
Cheers

this very well could be my grace williams! the age seems right and so do the parents! expect my PM imminently! lol

I have sent the death certificate, hope you get it okay.
I had a quick look for a marriage certificate on SP but didn't see anything, but there is a death certificate for a Gibson Nettleship Wilkinson in 1928 in Springburn. He is 59 years of age.
I do not know if some one has access to the 1911 census, outwith of SP, but there is a Grace Wilkinson aged 40 in Maryhill which might be worth checking.

From SP, John William Wilkinson born 1907 in Maryhill, parents listed as Gibson Nettleship Wilkinson, Seaman with the Merchant Service and Grace Wilkinson, maiden name Williams.
