Hi

Can you clarify exactly what information you still need and what you already have so we don't duplicate?

For example - Do you have them on any census showing where they were born?

Do you have a copy of their 1872 marriage cert showing their respective fathers names

Hi

That's great.  So what info are you still looking for?  There is this IGI entry which suggests he may have been illegitimate

THOMAS BLOMFIELD    Christening:  23 APR 1850   Holton Saint Mary, Suffolk,  Parents:   Mother:  MARY BLOMFIELD

Thats great Carol, many thanks for that. I wonder if Mary was a Miss or Mrs? if that was her Maiden name then i would like to try and trace her line back. If she was using a married name then i guess im a bit stuck.

Would you happen to know any more details about Mary?

This is great thank you all so much for your help.

Its brilliant and exciting finding all this info out!   I wonder where my line fits into the big picture with the Yaxley, Newton or other Norfolk and Suffolk lines?
