Ive a Advent ERT 2250 laptop about 2yrs old and 2 keys are not workin*. Ive lifted t*e keys out and tried pressin* t*e nipples but it is still not workin*.
Does anyone *ave any answers please.

I sometimes find that biscuit crumbs find there way under the keys and then stop the key clicking properly.
Turn the key board upside down and jiggle it about a bit to dislodge the crumbs.

I tried t*at was surprised at all t*e dirt and dust t*at came out but still no joy.

Its not in numeric mode is it? Fn + Num Lock - Enables the embedded keypad to work in numeric mode

I find a quick vacuum usually does the trick. Use the soft brush head.

As it is two keys together in the middle -G & H, I suspect that the keypad is at fault.

You could buy a wireless keyboard.

T*anks everyone for your replies, as you can see it still *asnt been resolved.
I will rin* my computer man on Monday and explain t*e situation ,I suspect I will *ave to buy a new keyboard and t*en *et *im to fit. Its really annoyin* I cant send emails wit*out t*em bein* ille*ible.

Check for any loose screws on the underneath of the laptop, particularly in the vicinity of these letters since this can cause keys to stop working.;D If you're lucky they may have a symbol on them to indicate they are for the keyboard.
