Help! Have been told my grandfather James Coyle was baptised in St. Patrick's R.C. Church, Crossroads, Killygordon circa 1864 and that his mother was Rosann Quigley and father was named as James Coyle. Can anyone advise where i should go from there.
Any certificates i have bought on IFHF/ rootsireland.ie for James Coyles of Donegal have turned up a blank.
I am unsure if Killygordon is also Donaghmore.
James Coyle married Annie Smyth in St. Patrick's Eskaheen/Iskaheen Muff in 1884.

Donaghmore is the civil and RC parish for the area around the town of Killygordan - records for the parish appear to be included on the RootsIreland website under Killygordan in the Inishownen, Donegal/Derry section

St Patrick's Church, Crossroads, Killygordon, is in the parish of Donaghmore. They keep records there which date back to around 1840.
Annette is the secretary there and works Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. I think the number is 074 9149194..
Good luck!
