Hi, Can anyone help with additional information in the marriage record of William Pearcy/Pearcey and Ann Ovens, 26 March 1839? Would it give her birthplace and parents?
Regards Heather

From familysearch.org
Her father is John Ovens.
His father is Thomas Pearcy.
Census check should give birthplace.

Hi Warncoot, Many thanks for the fathers' names. I have her birth as Whiteparish Hampshire although been admonished that it's really in Wiltshire! I guess county lines may have changed.
Ann is at Durnford Wilts in 1851 and 1861 and William is a widower in 1871 - so suspect she might be the death at Amesbury 1863.
Thank you, Heather

Alan, Thanks for your response. Enoch as father's name raises interesting questions - so will see what I can find and compare it to the John above.
I'd found William in 1871, living with daughter Deborah who seems to have moved home to housekeep. I think he remarries in 1872 to a Mary Ann Hibberd and possibly lives until 1897.
Wm & Ann Pearcey's daughter Anna marries at Durnford and appears to be sole family member who leaves Wiltshire and immigrates to Australia in 1877.
Guess I need to outlay on some certificates before our $ drops further against the £S.
