Title: Help with Nicholas HERBERT

I am hoping for help  with some info on Nicholas HERBERT who arrived in Australia aboard the ship Protector
on the 16 August 1853. His birth year is  shown as abt 1833 & his Nationality is Irish.The departure Port was Bristol. I am hoping to be able to find where & when he was born in Ireland. Can anyone show me the way? Many Thanks dancing lady in Australia

Depending on what State of Australia your man settled in you may need to purchase the relevant death or marriage certificate/transcript for him, bearing in mind that information on certificates/transcript is as only good as the knowledge of the informant.
