Title: George Dale - Sophia Hamlett
Post by: davebrady on Sunday 07 August 11 22:07 BST (UK)
Have just found my Great grandmother was Elizabeth Sarah Dale born in Dalton-in Furness (Ulverston Union) in 1868 to GEORGE DALE and SOPHIA HAMLETT.
Anybody have any info on George and Sophia? It would be greatly appreciated as I can find nothing on them anywhere

This looks like their marriage:

George Dale and Sophia Hamblett married at Manchester Cathedral in 1852 as per www.Lancashirebmd.org.uk .  Freebmd shows March Qtr 1852 Volume 8d page 317.  (Sophia has been incorrectly transcribed as 8d page 17).

Regards,
Mo
