You can look yourself on FreeBMD!
I have had a quick look thorugh, and cant see immediately a marriage with both those names on the same page, for that year in Sheffield. But may need to broaden out a little.
There is this one:
Jan/Feb/Mar 1867 whoops 1897!
Sheffield 9c 469
Sarah Ann Wilson / Albert Edward E Moyses on same page
he didnt use the surname Moyses did he?

No just Ellis as a surname that would be too far back he was born in the early 1870s. I couldn't find anything on free bmd myself do you think maybe they wernt married? or maybe they where married in a different town.

orry, meant 1897 (only looked at that year as I said)
have ammended.
Have you got them on 1901? If so can you give the ref.
I couldnt see them in Sheffield, and too many to choose from elsewhere.

Have you got Albert Edward on any of the censuses? Do you know anything about his parents? I'd have a look at the name Moyes/Moyses. The marriage lizdb found could well be the right one. I came across one of mine a few weeks ago who had an additional surname when he married. It turned out that his mother had been widowed when he was very young, had remarried and he'd added the stepfather's surname as well as his own for his marriage.
Regards,
Sandra
