Hello
Have found a burial for James BRERETON in the above graveyard
Buried 13 March 1835.
Is there any way to find who is buried with him in this grave.
Thanking you in anticipation.

Hi Pam,
Welcome to Roots Chat
I have today had a walk around St Johns Church yard ,many of the Monumental inscriptions are not readable ,the ones that are sadly do not have James Brereton .There was just a chance that one may have survived with an inscription that was readable for your ancestor, but no luck sorry.
If you do not know the church ,i took the opportunity to take photographs of the exterior ,there was a service on the inside it being Sunday,so please let me know if you would like a copy.
I guess the burial records are kept at the County record office at Stafford or at Litchfield Cathedral Archives ,i think it is unlikely they would be on line. You could ask on here if anyone is going to either and they may just look at the records for you ,put "County record office look up Please",and you may get a reply.
Best Wishes ,Good Hunting

Many thanks for the reply, I have a cousin who left for the UK last week she will be following up the brereton line at St Johns.
