Can anybody tell me whether the bloke is holding an open ring box or a half drunk glass of guiness in his hand.  I'd love to know where they are (if it's not down the pit) and which one he's proposed to.

Hi Harry,

I've decided it must be a glass of stout that your great grandad is holding.  I'm still baffled about where they are stood because of the rope, so I've not made anything of the background.

Just had a look at this restore and realised what a horrible colour I'd done his waistcoat and that I'd not put on the womens' shoes, so I've made some ammendments:

 :D  Sylvia,  I bet you did one of your enhancements and realised they were stood at a beer tent.  Doh, they look as if they're stood at the entrance to a dungeon on my version  :-[ :-\
