Have you seen this site: http://www.lan-opc.org.uk/Search/indexp.html (http://www.lan-opc.org.uk/Search/indexp.html)?

There's a number of trickey baptisms there and even a trickey-dry marriage.

Thank you! I don't really have anything other than very basic family knowledge right now, I'll get started on this proper when my parents come to visit in September and I can grill them (they live in Kearsley now and I live in the US).

I'll check that link out Pete...the Trickey/Dry marriage would be us, Great grandma was Dry nee Trickey.

Dave, that first one is interesting as even though I don't know of any Days, Gran was Nelly Dale nee Dry and she lived on Lord Duncan Street. I don't know the number, waiting to hear back from Mum on that.  We lived around the corner on Shah Street when I was little (1960's)

Yes, it should read DRY Francis at 34 Lord Duncan Street, that was my great grandfather. He died in 1964 at 91 years old, 3 months before I was born.

Hi Alison!

I'm looking up my family heritage and I believe Frederick William Trickey is my Great Grandfather. His son (I think) Leonard Frederick Trickey moved to Australia in the 60's, changed his last name to Tremaine and had 3 sons. I have just moved to London and would love to trace some family lineage if you have any more info on the Trickeys!
