Wondered if anyone would be able to date this photo for me, middle person is wearing an army uniform, only way i can think of dating it.

Try the Armed Forces board for military dating...as for this board, it might be helpful if we could see all of it including the outer corners.

I would say this is most definitely a WWI era photograph, meaning it would be from sometime around 1914-1918. I'm not an expert on military uniforms - though there are a few on this board and I'd be interested to hear what they have to say - but after a little research, I see that this sort of army uniform is WWI era and distinctly different from WWII army uniforms. Additionally, the other man and boy's clothes and hairstyles, as well as the general style and quality of the photograph, all seem to point to this time frame as well.

This is a camera copy China in an oval frame by the look of it.
It's worth putting it on the armed forces board but as there's no insignia they won't be able to give a Regt.
He looks to be in a post 1915 uniform.
