Title: OLD PHOTO STUDIO'S IN THE BELFAST AREA

Hi There.......

Was wondering if anyone is familiar or can provide any information on old photo studio's in the area....have located photo's of old ancestors, which were taken at:

Allison's  Vienna Studio, 14 Queen's Arcade, Belfast
Moffet's Art Studio, 10 High street,  Belfast, says "Portadown" in the left corner
Reid Bros., Belfast
Royal Studio, Belfast

Was hoping someone may be familiar with when these studio's were in operation???? thanks a bunch, as usual

Thanks for the web address....I'll have to check it out, I have a fair idea of the dates of the photo's but all information helps....funny thing is, I have some photo's that we have no clue who they are....know they are "Close's"...but no clue which ones....Once again, thanks for taking the time to respond...I appreciate it!!!!

Hi there...

I have a Charles Bones Wilkinson that married a Susannah Headley Close 21 Apr 1919, at the Albertbridge Congregational Church.  Charles ws the son of John Wilkinson (shoemaker) and Elizabeth Jane Stewart....he was born 11 Dec 1892 in Springwell Street, Ballymena, had a twin sister Rachel Stewart....according to the marriage register for charles and Susanna...Wilkinson's lived at 10 Symons Street Belfast....have found one child so far for Susannah and Charles  Elizabeth Jane b. 1919.... Charles died in 1976 and is buried in Dundonald Cemetery...does any of this sound familiar to you?

I also have a old photo of 2 ladies and 1 child and the name of the back says Ferguson's of Cookstown.  No idea who they are other then relatives,
The name on the front says Reid Bros. 114 Royal Ave.  Which I take is in Belfast.
Any help greatly appreciated.
