Hi Yosemitesam
If you have got that far back, you are doing extremely well.
I have parishes in Wales where I am totally stuck at 1800, as they were lost !!!
I am sure that someone with the right connections will come along and help you, but I suspect that you will need the Local Record office. I am not sure whether you are in the UK or USA from your name.
Good luck with your searches, but it may need a miracle to get back further. Just be patient and see if anyone else local to the area can help you.

How wonderful to get so far back . I find that looking at early records so hard to decipher. You must have a lot of patience.

Eccleshall PR's start 1573 so you can't go any further back.

If you're new to this, you're doing very well. I've been tracing mine and my husband's trees for over 12 years now and the earliest verifiable date I've managed to get to is in the late 1600s!

well i'm not that new to it - been doing this tree for a lot of years now but only recently tried to get somewhere near as far as i can go.. be nice to think - well thats as far as is reasonably possible without getting time team in ::)
