I am wondering if anyone can help me find 2 'missing' census records for my GG Grandfather ???
He is Francis Sinclair Smith WARD, born 1851.
His parents were Joseph WARD & Frances Sinclair SMITH, and he was born in Plymouth.
On the 1861 he is listed as Frank, living at Summerland Place, St Andrew, Plymouth.
He married Mary Ann Crouch JOHNS in 1873 - in London.
I cant find him in 1871 or 1901
Any help is appreciated!
Many thanks
:)

Hi MeWMeW
A search on www.familysearch.org shows he was in the Parish of All Saints, Poplar in 1901.
Francis Ward - age 51, b. Plymouth
saying that..I'm afraid I can't find him!

If you are using Ancestry (I'm not!) you'll not find him, because that page seems to be missing - I just checked ::)

Hi JenB & Dazey!
Thanks for the help! That is definitely him in 1901! As that matches the names of 3 of his children!
No wonder I couldn't find the page then! Really annoying when the records are missing. I do use Ancestry, as well as other sites.
Now I just have to find 1871!
Thanks
