Title: Soho Court, Melton Mowbray
Post by: mikeguess on Sunday 10 July 11 16:25 BST (UK)
I have a Vine Guess living at this place in the 1851 census but all I can see in maps is a Soho Street .
What was Soho Court and was it in the area of what is now the street ?

Anyone know of good old street maps of Melton Mowbray ?

Try http://www.old-maps.co.uk

I just searched for Melton Mowbray, then looked at the 1885 town plan. Soho Court shows as does Soho Gardens and a street called just Soho , pretty much where it is on the modern maps.
