looking for relatives of agnes youdell born 18/4/1925 came to manchester in the late 1940s , lived in hollow mire eskdale

Are you looking for living relatives or ancestors of Agnes.
We cannot post information on living persons but I can give you living YOUDELL via
a PM.
As for Cumberland YOUDELL it appears that the name is not native to Eskdale as the
burials from 1650-1837 contain no YOUDELL (inc variations), the name does appear
as YOUDELL, YOUDALE, or as transcribed, in other parishes between 1813-1990.

Hi Trish
Joseph Atkinson & Tamar Sergison are my husband's 3x great grandparents.
They had a daughter Tamar b.1800 at Crosthwaite + other children
I believe that possibly this Tamar married John Youdale as I said at Carlisle on 9 Sep 1827.
I have never been able to find any other info about this couple
Did Tamar die & John remarry?
Did John die and Tamar remarry ?
I have not been able to find any deaths or any poss candidates in the census.
Did they have any children ?
Youdale has many alternative spellings. I have had other family members called Tamar and they have been mistranscribed as Jane and as Thomas !
The search goes on.

Just registered with this site so i can message you. Dave Taxi is one of my brothers, one of two who like me were adopted. I was the eldest of Agnes Youdell's children (10 in total) and am 65 years old. I spent many years tracing all the lost siblings, putting us all in touch with each other and discovering my mother Agnes and grandparents William and Mary. I have seen Hollow Mire and met a cousin some years ago who was the last to live there. Now I would like to delve further back into ancestors. You mentioned in your post to Dave Taxi that you had a family tree. I wonder if I could have a copy? I don't know my way around this site yet so don't know if this is a private message or not. Not that it matters anyway. Only Googled 'Agnes Youdell' 10 minutes ago! Many regards.

Hi Juney, welcome to Rootshat! :)
You need to have made another post or two on this board, then you can use the PM system.
It appears that T321RAF who has the tree hasn't been around for over a year, so it may be difficult to contact him at all. :-\ Fingers crossed though!
