I am seeking further information on John William Bennett (b. 1876 Yorkshire England) who left Liverpool 12 May 1894 aboard 'Lake Winnipeg' bound for Montreal.
He is the brother of my Grandmother. They were orphaned in 1884. Father in a mining accident, mother in childbirth.
Any help would appreciated. This is a long standing brick wall.

It is only a suggestion in my reply that this may be him - it's not a certainty

Thank you for your response. I appreciate your point. I am trying to remain positive I recall my father speaking of a relative(s) in Canada and assumed he referred to two daughters from his grandmother's previous marriage. So it is a bit of positive thinking on my part. Again thank you for the possible link

Do you have an exact date of birth for him or just the year?

I'm afraid all I have at present is the year, but I'm still working on it. Thank you for your response

Thank you J.J. I have details of William and Emily's marriage. The Information I'm hoping to find is for their son John William after his parents died in 1884
