Hello, I am trying to find George and Lucy Tomlinson on the 1861 and 1871 Census. George was born about 1807 and Lucy about 1830. I believe they may have lived in Birmingham area.
Many thanks.

First wife was Juda, as shown in the 1851 census of Kings Heath / Norton ..
HO107/Piece: 2048 Folio: 73 Page: 25 @ Kings Heath
George Tomlinson 39 Head born Birmingham: Fire Iron Manufacturer
Juda (could be Julia) Tomlinson 37 Wife Worcs, Yardley
George Dean Tomlinson 10 son (suspect the age could be 16, based on the 6 year old in the 1841 census)
Edwin C Tomlinson 11 son
Ellen Julia Tomlinson 8 dau
Louisa Sophia Tomlinson 6 dau
Francis Tomlinson 1 son
Frances Smith 18 Servant
She's Judy in the 1841 census - and the oldest child (George) was born c1835, so you wont find a GRO wedding for the couple.
HO107 / Piece 1197 / Book: 21 Civil Parish: Kings Norton Folio: 35; Page: 4
Next door is a Charles & Judith DEAN (Fire Iron trade too) - so its odds on that Judy was a Dean, given the name they gave the son seen in 1851 ....
There you go - altho they mistranscribed poor old George.
