Title: Bennett-Castleford-Late 19C
Post by: keelbec on Tuesday 05 July 11 15:55 BST (UK)
Looking for information on John William Bennett, born 1876 Castlford, my grandmothers brother. In 1884 they lived with parents William and Emily (Wilson). William was killed in a mining accident in July 1884, Emily died in Sept 1884 in childbirth, child died Nov 1884.
John William and Edith went to stay with relative, either and aunt or a cousin locally. I can trace their ancestors back to 1680, but I'm stuck with John William for the last few years. Can anyone help.

The 1906 marriage cert shows his father as Thomas Bennett so it's a different John William
